We encourage everyone to learn the art of gardening. Not only is it a rich and rewarding life-skill with rewards both physical and spiritual, it is also a valuable tool for survival if one was ever faced with the need to feed themselves. In addition to being an agricultural producer in Southern Arizona, Avalon Organic Gardens is also a educational center. We want to feed the world, but we know we can't do it alone. We offer residency-internship opportunities for individuals and families
who are looking to experience our fully-integrated garden and
ecovillage. Join us for a couple weeks, or a couple months, or a
full year, for a total immersion learning experience. By participating in
the day-to-day routines of Avalon Organic Gardens, you are sure to acquire
a new perspective on gardening, green-building, animal husbandry, and
